Words has Eyes!!

I had a friend in college, whose first name is same as mine. I always use to make fun of his glasses like you better watch out while walking/doing, you have too many blind spots, ..etc

And when I'm with friends we all make fun of his eye sight, since he is short sighted, he can't see things very far. But irrespective of his shortage, he is a very good cricket player, I would say he is the best bowler in our college.

It was that age, we never really cared much. Later after 15 years, when I took my 5 year old son to hospital to check his Vision, I literally cried when I learnt my 5 year old has to wear glasses to have a proper 20:20 vision.

I know for sure my son's vision impact is due to some genetic reasons or vitamin deficiency or some unknown things. But somedays I think its bcos of my attitude towards my friend, which has taught me a lesson?

Never realized at young age, how words are so powerful. Even now unknowingly I use words which can sometimes becomes real. So learning to better use proper words and also not to tease anyone or hurt anyone with even words bcos words are so powerful and it has eyes!!
